Motorbikes
Now these I just love you can not beat a motorbike!!!!!!!!!!
I have had bikes since I was 16 and had a provisional license my first bike was a Yamaha DT50 the most under powered bike ever to darken the roads

Properly better looking than the one I had. One of my friend Paul who did not have a bike wanted to see if he could ride it so I let him have a go...................... what I forgot to tell him was that the front brake did not work.
Paul rode around in first gear then headed for the curb not able to stop he hit the curb hard this I thought was hysterical to watch Paul did not see the funny side for some weeks
Paul later brought a bike himself and continued riding until he hit a horse at speed and ended in hospital for six months.
after having a car for a year or so I started an apprenticeship this meant no cash so Paul and I went halves on an old Suzuki TS50 which had been in a garage for some years
I spent some time stripping it down and spraying parts and we eventually got her running this I used for work and college for about a year before I brought another car. This bike was stolen!!! from my house and the insurance paid out 200 pounds which lasted seconds in the pub.
After a break from bikes for 7 years I decided to take my bike test and convinced Paul to do it as well.
We done the CBT part one in the local car park and booked up a days training and the test the following day.
Paul went for his test first and as he return our instructor moved me to another room so I did not know if he had passed or failed, I went out and did the test and after the first 5 minutes thought I had failed so started riding as if I did not care got back to the center and was asked a couple of question and what do you know I passed even more spooky so had Paul.
We were like two teenagers again both trying to buy a proper bike as soon as possible I won, I drove down to Bristol to collect the Yamaha YZF600R thundercat she look the bollocks in black we loaded her into the back of a van and took her home.
I had to wait till the weekend to go out as I had NO helmet, NO insurance, NO leathers and NO time.

She was great very quick (compared to a car) and sounded great Paul got a Honda CBR 600 and we spent that summer out at every opportunity just riding around.
Paul got rid of his bike due to work commitments and having nowhere to put it
Following a year with the CAT I got a full on sports bike brand new and with only 7 miles on the clock
The Suzuki GSXR 600 R
This was the ultimate at the time I was told not to go above seven thousand revs for 600 miles. seven thou was about 90 mph. After the 600 miles I opened her up and F*#! me the pull was immense and before you could say "hold on" you are doing 140mph.
The cornering was brilliant compared to the old 600 and the looks ....... need I say more......
After a couple of years I decided to go for the biggie the 1000cc but I was a bit bored of sports bike very heavy on the wrists so I had a look around and fell in love with
Aprillia's Tuono
It looked strange I had not seen many but I had heard about the hooligan side to this bike!!!!!

She is a RSV mille that someone has nick the fairing from and god can it wheelie!!!
went to have a test ride in Aylesbury the guy told me "to watch her in first, second and third!!!! as the front comes up!!!!"
Never have I heard such an understatement in my life, rode out of the showroom as slowly as possible got down the road to the lights and then gave her some welly the front wheel went skywards and I clunked through the gearbox it did not come down until third gear
Any of the first three gears will wheelie with little or no effort
Stoppies are equally as easy just hang on the front brake and lean forward. This is the most fun motorbike I have ever owned she will bat down the road and give all the sports bikes a beating through the twisties it is only when you get to 140 MPH+ that the wind gets too much for you to ride her properly.
I have done some minor mods new LED rear lights and clear indicators all round make her look good also have fitted a radiator guard which also looks good and stops the rad's getting punctured.
Update:
Following a little ride in the middle of September, some very nice lady decided to pull out on me !!then stop point blank in the middle of a roundabout need less to said i hit her and the bike hit the deck.
Not very happy but all credit to her and her insurance company (HASTINGS), she admitted it was her fault. Her insurance company rang me the following day, they arranged for a hire bike to be delivered the following day and my bike was taken off for repair.
It has come back looking as good as the above picture and rides like a dream...............
